    Prihoda Company Profile

High Care Air (HCA) specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of fabric ducting and textile diffusers. Fabric ducting is widely used within sectors such as retail, commercial, food industry, educational and public buildings, sports facilities, industrial, distribution, cleanroom and electronic environments to create appropriate air conditions. HCA offers a complete design package, including installation and maintenance throughout the UK.

Fabric ducting is used to distribute and treat air for heating and cooling, humidification and condensation removal and filtration within buildings. Often installed as a direct replacement for traditional sheet metal ducts, fabric ducting is much lighter and less expensive. HCA has developed systems for many leading companies throughout the UK including Tesco, Twycross Zoo, Wrigleys and food manufacturing companies.

    Fabric Ducting

The superior quality fabric ducting is made to order in virtually any shape and diameter required. There are nine colour options, aesthetic installation options including light, medium and heavy weight material choices, unique micro perforations systems that eliminate diffuser blockage, optional antibacterial treatments and flame retardant materials. Every design is thoroughly checked to ensure correct velocities, pressure drops and zone velocities. The fabric ducting is manufactured by Prihoda, the world's leading producer of fabric ducts.

    Applications include:

    • Retail and commercial (heating and tempered fresh air systems and mechanical cooling)
    • Food industry (cooling and displacement systems)
    • Education and public sector (tempered fresh air, underfloor and air distribution systems)
    • Leisure, pools an d sports halls (heating, cooling and fresh air systems)
    • Industrial, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution (tempered fresh air, cooling and distribution systems)
    • Cleanroom, pharmaceutical and electronic (cooling and tempered fresh air systems)

    Air Distribution Designs

Many commercial businesses require different fabric ducting systems depending on what the building is used for. Air distribution systems available include:

    • Displacement systems
    • Mixing air systems
    • Heating air systems
    • Tempered fresh air
    • Cooling air systems
    • Underfloor and distribution systems

    Diffuser Types

Air can be introduced into a room using several methods depending on the supplied air condition and the application. The most popular diffusers include:

    • Permeable diffusers are used for supplying air below dew point to guarantee against condensation. Permeable diffusers must always be used with micro perforation diffusers or bespoke perforations.
    • Micro perforation diffusers are specified for low velocity applications with cooling or tempered fresh air. The micro perforation diffuser incorporates an anti-clog system that remains free of dust.
    • Bespoke perforation diffusers are designed for specific projects for use on cooling and heating applications, including tempered fresh air to create mixed and directional air flows.
    • Textile nozzle diffusers are used in high ceiling applications such as warehouses or rooms that require very long air throws with no velocity issues.
    • A membrane system allows cooling and heating from the same duct when the cooling condition is critical.

    Permigrille

This is a recently developed product by HCA and is set to be launched in the near future. Permigrille is a modular textile diffuser that has a fixed diffusion capacity that can be expanded by adding more sections. There are four Permigrille diffuser options including:

    • Permigrille Draft Blanket which sits over an existing grille
    • Permigrille Passive low velocity diffuser
    • Permigrille Active is the same as Passive but additional diffusers create mixing and induction with velocity
    • Permigrille Displacement Diffusers for low level velocity

    Material Types

There are several materials available for specific applications which can be treated with Bio Active Anti Microbial and flame retardant coating. There are nine colour options to coordinate with all interiors, material options include:

    • Permeable
    • Matt woven non permeable
    • Gloss PVC non permeable
    • Insulated duct
    • Non combustible
    • Light materials in permeable and non permeable options

    Installation and Maintenance

HCA provides an installation service upon request and all installations are carried out by fully trained sub-contractors who have comprehensive textile diffuser experience and who fully understand the industry. All contractors carry CSCS cards and have extensive food industry experience, coupled with general industrial and retail ventilation installations. HCA is also a CIS registered contractor and can install other textile ventilation products from various manufacturers. HCA provide a full maintenance service, guaranteeing that all ducts are properly cleaned and dried, with any repairs carried out, if necessary.

High Care Air prides itself on offering a superior range of high quality fabric and textile ducting. The sales team can assist clients in specifying the correct product for a particular environment. A full design service incorporates comprehensive drawings and aesthetic installation options. HCA has established a widely respected reputation with many leading companies throughout the UK. Products are guaranteed for ten years.
