Accent and Display
Accent and display lighting is generally specified for use in retail outlets, window displays, commercial applications and showrooms. The spot and floodlight systems designed by Powerlite are track and surface mounted and manufactured from aluminium and high temperature polymers. They can also feature remote control to adjust pan and tilt, programmable sequencing options and anti-glare cowls. The range includes Corvus 1-6 and Mircona 1-4.
Track Systems
Track lighting systems allow for versatility and can span wide areas, work around corners and be wall or ceiling mounted. Used in a vast array of settings including kitchens, bedrooms, retail outlets, hair and beauty salons, museums and showrooms, the Sirius range of track systems is manufactured from extruded aluminium which can be powder coated or polished and plated. A full range of colours, finishes and accessories are available.
Recessed Downlights
Recessed downlights are suitable for general display and accent lighting applications and can accommodate a large range of lamp types including narrow, medium and wide beam. Options include Mira 1-6, Cygnus 1-4 and Alpha 1-7.
Recessed Fluorescent Modules
Recessed module lighting offers general commercial and retail lighting applications subtle, yet effective lighting which sits flush with the ceiling line. The Merga range offers a diverse range of lighting options.
Compact Surface
The Corona compact surface lighting range offers stylish luminaires for wall or ceiling mounting and is suitable for corridors, porches, bathrooms, bars, changing rooms and waiting areas. The Corona range incorporates impact resistant opal, clear or frosted polycarbonate covers and is available in eight designs.
Linear Surface
The Vela linear surface lighting range is suitable for pendant, surface or track mounting and is a low glare system suitable for schools, offices, canteens, restaurants, retail and commercial applications.
Uplighters
Uplighters are used for decorative purposes where direct and indirect lighting is required. The Ursa range of uplighters incorporates a high frequency electronic control gear as standard and design options are available. Pavo in-ground uplighters are also available for illuminating paths and walkways.
HID Pendants
Ara HID or High Density Discharge pendant lights are suitable for retail and tough industrial environments and provide superior lighting for large areas. Manufactured from aluminium, the lights feature reflector optics and are recommended for mounting from 3-5 metres high.
Special Area Luminaires
There are certain areas where specialist lighting is required; these areas include factories, food preparation areas, plant rooms, car parks, sports halls, hotels and corridors. Powerlite can assess an individual requirement and specify the most appropriate lighting solution. Options include the Argo range.
Exterior Luminaires
The exterior luminaires range covers a vast area of floodlighting requirements including building illumination, sports facilities, car parks, signage and garage forecourts. Designed for exterior uses, the Regor and Hydra ranges are extremely durable and resistant to the rigours of the elements. There is an extensive range of styles and options available.
LED 4 LED Powered Luminaires
The recently launched LED 4 powered amenity luminaires are powered by high performance LED arrays and produce a working efficacy of 86Lm/W. These lights are ideal for use in public areas, toilets, schools and exit routes and are suitable for 24 hour operation within supermarkets, airports and residential care homes. Features include three power levels, cool running, mechanically and electrically robust, Lumisaver, Enerysaver and movement detection options and an extremely long life.
