Phoenix Lifting Systems is a well respected UK manufacturer and installer of platform lifts that provide access for less able people within a broad selection of commercial and residential properties. The company was established in 1995 and has acquired in-depth knowledge of everything connected with the commissioning of platform lifts for the less able. All lifts built at the factory in Salisbury, Wiltshire, meet the required British and European Standards and have been tested and approved to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Certificate number MC.01.010. They also fully comply with EN81/41. Phoenix Lifting Systems lifts come with a full 5-year warranty, subject to a service agreement being taken out.
Installations are carried out by the company’s dedicated teams of highly trained staff. All essential test documentation and manuals are then supplied to the site owner. Service and maintenance is offered around the clock, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Products
Phoenix Lifting Systems produces the RISE lift and the UTILITY lift. The RISE is the perfect mid range solution and the UTILITY is ideal for prestige locations requiring something a bit special.
Both models are suitable for internal or external use and come complete with a solid or fully glazed enclosure. There is a choice of three standard platform sizes and special sizes can be ordered for either product. The lifts are able to travel up to six metres, come complete with vandal resistant buttons and can be specified with space saving centre-opening powered doors.
The lift enclosures are finished in a choice of four standard colours – white, beige, grey or sapphire – but other colours are available from BS or RAL ranges. The UTILITY model is also available in stylish brushed stainless steel.
Both models are simple to install within one or two days, with no pit being required and minimal building work.
The RISE is suitable for fire-rated areas when installed in a purpose-built shaft. An alternative way to obtain fire rating is simply clad the lift after installation. Phoenix Lifting Systems will supply and fit 30 minute or one hour fire doors.
