Permagard has recently launched the iQ-Therm Breathable Interior Insulation System from Remmers. iQ-Therm is an innovative, intelligent wall insulation system which combines capillary thermal insulation with the regulation of moisture in the air to create one fully breathable system. A moisture buffering soption layer allows additional regulation of moisture in the air to ensure a comfortable room climate and reliable protection against infection and mould. The panels are bonded to the interior wall surface and then coated with a highly porous, lightweight mineral plaster 10-15mm thick which forms the sorption and surface for finishing. iQ-Therm is considered to be a one-stop-shop solution for resolving heat loss, condensation and mould.
