Sliding Door Systems
PC Henderson offers a variety of sliding door systems suitable for use in internal and external applications within industrial, commercial and residential properties. Depending on the system, the hardware can be used with wood, glass, steel and aluminium materials and can accommodate maximum door weights ranging from 9-8000kg. Folding Door Systems
New to the range is Securefold Ultra, one of the most secure timber folding door systems on the market allowing peace of mind without compromising on design.
After extensive research and trials, Securefold Ultra has been certified as burglar resistant to class II of BS EN 1627 European security certification, PAS 24 and has been accredited with Secured by Design thanks to the additional skilfully designed components including:

- Attack resistant interlocking hinge
- Robust stainless steel drop bolt
- Enhanced security screws.
PC Henderson also offers a range of alternative folding systems that can be specified for internal and external commercial, domestic and industrial applications. The systems can be used with wood, steel, glass and aluminium materials for maximum door weights ranging from 14-140kg. Key uses include folding partitions where weather-proofing is essential, light and heavy duty applications, end folding partitions for commercial and public access areas where weight has to be taken at floor level, bi-fold doors, folding doors and partitions, glass panels and top hung medium weight exterior doors.
Design options include Securefold, Husky, Pacer, Flexirol, Tangent and College.
Round-the-Corner Systems
The Round-the-Corner systems are designed for use on wood or steel exterior doors with a maximum weight of 35-80kg. The Tangent range of hardware systems can be specified for light through to heavy duty industrial, commercial and residential applications such as showrooms, residential garages and industrial garages and warehouses.
Multidirectional Systems
The Multidirectional door systems can be used for domestic and commercial applications with maximum door weights of 100-500kg. There are lightweight and heavy duty Flexirol systems which are available for wood, aluminium, steel and glass doors that require a 90 degree or 135 degree movement within internal and external door applications.
Lift and Slide Systems
The Lift and Slide system is ideal for residential and commercial applications that require plenty of natural light or where a large glass window allows a complete view of the landscape. This system also provides maximum accessibility to the exterior to create a large and open entertaining space. Lift and Slide is suitable for external wooden doors up to 300kg.
Fire Doors
The Marathon fire door gear kit is solely designed to be used in conjunction with Marathon S3, S4, S5 and S6 gear kits on approved solid core FD30 or FD60 timber-based fire doors weighing up to 90kg. The system is tested in accordance with BS 476: Part 22: 1987.
Stainless Steel Sliding Doors
The stainless steel hardware systems are suitable for lightweight, medium and heavy duty doors and panels within internal and external applications. The 280/SS lightweight system, the 290/SS is a medium weight system and the 301/SS is a heavy weight system, all of which are suitable for marine areas, chemical plants and areas with high levels of corrosion.
Industrial Overhead Carrying Systems
The Industrial Overhead Carrying systems allow the easy movement of equipment through a workplace along straight and curved tracks. The systems can be used in internal and external applications for weights of between 40 and 225kg.
Industrial Gates
The Titan Cantilever gate system is a superior quality, robust and heavy duty gear used for sliding metal gates up to 1,000kg within industrial and commercial applications. This system is ideal for security and traffic control and is designed for use on flat and uneven surfaces.
Automation
The newest addition to the PC Henderson range is the latest in convenient and highly sophisticated automated sliding door solutions for domestic or light commercial applications.
The Evolve range can deliver automation to pocket, single and double sliding doors weighing up to 80kg. Evolve is perfect for a huge range of applications and with a choice of hardwired and wireless control options, it can enhance anything from a luxury property to a situation where ease of access is vital.
