Door and Wall Portholes and Vision Panels
Door and wall vision panels not only act as a design feature, but also offer a practical solution for the creation of visibility and light. The extensive range of vision panels has been developed to suit both modern and traditionally designed interiors and many shapes and sizes are available. Every vision panel and porthole window is extremely easy to fit and is supplied as a complete kit which comprises the glass, fixings, glazing seals and installation instructions.
Every vision panel is made to order for 35mm, 44mm or 54mm standard door thicknesses; bespoke sizes can be manufactured upon request. As standard, the vision panels are fabricated using brush finish 304 grade stainless steel, with the option of bright polished stainless steel faces, powder coated and brass finishes.
Options for Portholes/Vision Panels:
- Customisation: Standard designs can be scaled up or down to suit individual specifications or a completely bespoke or customised design and shape can be made.
- Document M/DDA: Document M/DDA vision panels can be made to order and are ideal for situations where Building Regulations specify a minimum zone of visibility.
- Fire Rated: Many of the porthole windows and vision panels can be made with a 30 or 60-minute fire integrity upgrade.
- Walls: The majority of vision panels can be modified to fit into interior walls such as stud walls and plasterboard walls.
- Exterior Use: External wall vision panels can also be made to order.
- Shape Options: The vision panels are all precision engineered and hand-finished to create a stunning, contemporary look for any interior. Standard shape designs include circular, rectangular, square, ellipse, rounded slimline, rounded square, rounded rectangle, wide rounded.
- Glazing: The vision panel glazing is clear as standard and upgrades are available for frosted/sandblasted glazing, Georgian wired glazing or coloured window film.
- Signage: North 4 Design supplies a range of standard etched signage options, as well as a customisation option for signage, logos and wording on the glazed vision panels.
Mirrors
North 4 Design offers a selection of mirrors which have been developed to perfectly complement the look of the vision panel ranges. In addition to the standard ranges of stainless steel porthole mirrors, the team has the capability to design and fabricate bespoke shapes, etched patterns and coloured border mirrors. The addition of a mirror or mirrors to a room will greatly enhance the feeling of light and space. The stainless steel framed and safety mirrors are supplied with fixings. The coloured border mirrors feature a bold border in a wide selection of colours. They are supplied with all associated fixings.
Ironmongery
North 4 Design supplies a selection of ironmongery and fittings which will co-ordinate perfectly with the vision panel ranges. Products include kick plates, push plates, door handles, door signage, numbers and bespoke designs.
