Nibe is based in Sweden and is one of Europe’s leading manufactures for domestic heating solutions. The company is dedicated to providing energy saving solutions which are environmentally friendly and effectively heat a property.
From small to large applications Nibe has developed a range of products which can reduce traditional forms of energy consumption by 50 to 75%. Ground Source Heat Pumps
Nibe offer 15 types of ground source heat pumps ranging from 5kW to 40kW units saving up to 74% on energy consumption. Using a bore hole or slinky configuration, heat is drawn from the ground and converted to energy through a heat pump. The Nibe Fighter 1140 and 1240 are suitable for single family homes with the Nibe F1330 range accommodating multiple occupancy homes and industrial buildings.
Nibe also produce two accumulator tanks for connection to heat pumps alongside exhaust and passive air modules, cooling and heating systems with geothermal exchange and control units.
Air/Water Heat Pumps
This system converts energy in the atmosphere to heat for use in a domestic environment and can save up to 50% on typical energy consumption. The system is designed to work in conjunction with a traditional boiler and radiator system providing much of the daily hot water and heating requirements. The boiler should only need to be used in colder weather or peak periods. A two stage ventilator provides additional economy and products range from the Fighter 2005 to 2020. Nibe also manufacture an electric boiler to work with the air/water heat pumps.
Exhaust Air Heat Pumps
Nibe has developed a robust and reliable ventilation and heat recovery system which uses abandoned heat within a home from lighting, people and appliances and uses it to warm cool air flowing into the home. The benefits to this system means homes are adequately ventilated with fresh air but also the heating demands are also met. These systems can provide 40-50% of the total heat and water requirements in a property. The system is a mechanical ventilation solution with either outside air post flow or a central air supply using a heat pump.

Nibe has also developed wood pellet and wood burning boilers and a range of water heaters from small units for summer houses to large commercial applications.
