Based in Maldon, Essex, Locusrite is a well established family run business specialising in the manufacture and supply of expanded metal building products to the construction industry. The company has built a strong reputation for high quality products and distributes throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, the Far East and the Middle East.
Locusrite has a wide ranging portfolio of plastering products including, angle bead, plaster stop bead, external render stop bead, thincoat bead, minimesh bead, expanded metal lath and riblath. Products
All expanded metal products are manufactured by Locusrite. Galvanised materials are manufactured from steel to DX51 BS EN 10142 standard, stainless steel materials are manufactured to EN 10088-2 grade 1.4301 standard and angle beads are produced in accordance with BS 6452 part 1:1984. Expanded Metal Products
- Standard and premier bead for straight corners to reinforce plaster in weak areas, in galvanised and stainless steel
- Plaster stop standard and premier bead gives a precise, smooth finish and reinforces the plaster edge, galvanised or stainless steel
- External render standard and premier stop bead is used to create a neat cast edge on external finishes, galvanised or stainless steel
- Movement standard and premier bead galvanised or stainless steel forms a movement joint in both plaster and render
- Perforated thin coat bead in galvanised steel is used with one coat of plaster for corner protection
- Mini mesh galvanised steel bead for an improved mechanical key and used with one coat of plaster
- Expanded metal lathing in galvanised and stainless steel is used as a key for plaster on suspended ceilings, walls, columns and beams, also aids fire protection
- Riblath is produced in galvanised and stainless steel used on ceilings and partitions
- Brick reinforcement coil for the prevention of cracking in brick and block-work
- Corner mesh lath is used for internal and external corners to stop cracking
- Strip mesh lath is used for stress lines to reduce the likelihood of cracking
- Arch stop, architrave and plasterboard edge bead available in galvanised steel
