Lifton Home Lifts Company Profile
Lifton Home Lifts are stylish solutions for people wanting to easily move about their home. Backed by the latest technology, this premium brand offers a choice of two sizes of domestic lift, both in a discreet capsule shape that fits easily with any décor. Operation is via an integrated drive system that is quiet and unobtrusive.
The lifts run in a self-supporting structure that does not need to be fixed to a load-bearing wall, so there is minimal disruption and installation is quick and simple.
With the experience and expertise of the Stiltz Group behind Lifton home lifts, the team is able to give all advice and support necessary to enable people to ‘future proof’ their property and live a full life. The lift cost includes surveys, delivery, installation, demonstration and after-sales assistance and consultants can advise on whether the installation is eligible for VAT relief or other subsidies.
The Lifton Home Lift range currently comprises:
LiftonDUO
Designed to carry one or two persons, the DUO’s compact size and flexible placement options means this simple, convenient domestic lift looks great in contemporary or traditional homes.
LiftonTRIO
This is the first home lift of its kind which can accommodate a full-sized wheelchair. It can also carry up to three people in its spacious interior.
Both models run on aluminium stilts which are fixed to ceiling and floor, with the wire rope hoist system neatly concealed inside the top of the aluminium, half-glazed lift car. With no lift shaft or external machinery needed, these domestic lifts allow maximum living space to be retained and typically take just one day for the Lifton team to install.
They are packed full of features for safety and convenience:
A battery back-up facility is included as standard to allow the lift to continue gently descending to the ground level in the event of a power cut to the home.
There are built-in sensors to automatically detect obstructions above or below the lift when it is moving and bring it to a smooth stop.
With a compact footprint no larger than 104cm x 76cm (0.8m2), the Lifton Home Lift can fit discreetly into small spaces. Frequently, the domestic lift will be fitted in a hallway or living room and travel up to a main bedroom or landing area; but it can also be located in the stairwell, or even a cupboard.
The elegant, minimalist design means the Lifton domestic lift is sometimes chosen to be centre stage, rather than tucked away. It fits seamlessly into any style of home décor and complements all types of home.
When the lift is parked on another level, the floor space where it would normally be can be utilised. The existing flooring covering is fitted to the top of the lift so that there is an uninterrupted view across the flooring upstairs when the lift is downstairs.
The quiet electric motor on top of the Lifton Home Lift is powered through a standard domestic electricity socket with a single 13-amp plug. There are no hydraulics or loud mechanical equipment.
Operation of your home lift is simple using a clear control panel. For additional safety and security, the control panel can be secured with a key. Two remote controls are included as standard, with an option to purchase more.
A UK purchaser of a Lifton domestic lift gave this testimonial: “Our architects and builders were astonished at the engineering absence of hydraulics and the relatively simple installation process with a small ceiling aperture. Some pipes and cables had to be slightly rerouted, but Stiltz Lifts took care of all of that for us, and it was included in the overall price.
“What won us over to Lifton domestic lifts, however, was its beautiful, compact design – light years away from both those unsightly stairlifts and the bulky lifts you sometimes find in shopping centres.”
