The website and brochure explain the selection procedure, covering the purpose of the building and the floor construction; whether the door will be used internally or externally; type of door construction and whether top or face fixing; the number of door leaves and weight and thickness of each leaf; and the door opening dimensions.
King’s sliding door gear includes:
Tubular Track - Manufactured from high quality cold rolled steel strip, light coat galvanised to BS 2989, track is available in standard lengths of 1.8m, 2.1m, 2.4m, 3m, 4m, 5m and 6m. The maximum length for size 4 track is 3m. King offers a cutting service, making lengths to customers’ requirements before despatch, while only charging for the standard length used.
Brackets- Various styles and sizes of support brackets are manufactured in high strength extruded aluminium, aluminium alloy, cast iron or zinc plated steel.
Door hangers - Available in a choice of sizes for timber doors of various thicknesses and metal framed doors, including neat hangers specially designed for interior positioning.
Guides - A wide choice of floor and wall fixing guides with nylon, cast iron or brass rollers including heavy duty versions and general purpose guides that can be easily replaced without dismantling the doors.
Channels- Aluminium or steel channels including extra deep versions.
Weather hood - Constructed of pressed steel galvanised to BS2989, to protect door gear on exterior applications. Available in standard lengths of 0.91m, 1.22m, 1.52m and 1.83m for single or double track.
Door furniture - Including handles, bolts, locking bars and door stops.
Eurogear
This range of compact, high performance door gear features an all steel construction, including 2m or 3m long tracks in 2.5mm extra thick structural quality galvanised steel to BS 2989 with flat tread for strength and durability and hangers with self-aligning independent ball bearing wheels to ensure even weight distribution. The single or double sidewall brackets and soffit brackets are all manufactured from high strength precision pressed steel which is zinc plated. The hangers for timber doors feature adjustable aprons.
Eurogearis also available in kit form, boxed up for easy storage and transport. Four kits are available to cover single and double doors up to 3m wide x 4m high and up to 400 kg per leaf.
Royale
For straight sliding interior doors with a maximum weight of 68kg per leaf, Royale provides smooth, effortless operation and a clear threshold thanks to the bottom guide system. Designed for domestic or commercial applications, Royale comes with easy to follow instructions. The sets comprise a high grade galvanised steel track with prepared holes, carriage unit, steel channel with nylon floor guide, rubber stop and steel pelmet.

King supplies easy-to-operate demountable aluminium alloy flood barriers which provide effective, convenient flood protection for doors and entrances of commercial and industrial units.
