Kevala Stairs has been established to supply dynamic staircases that offer architects, developers and end-users unlimited options to develop their own choice of bespoke stairs that push the boundaries of traditional staircase design.
Kevala Stairs has elevated staircase function and developed to a new level of bespoke staircase production and installation. This system is at the forefront of modern, traditional and architectural staircase furniture construction. Our vision at Kevala Stairs is to set a new benchmark in the supply method of designer stairs, giving the end user a quality staircase delivered on time and with exceptional customer service.
The state of the art production facilities in the UK, Czech Republic and Italy combine the latest technologies, computer-aided design and manufacture with traditional craftsmanship skills.
We are able to develop a mix of bespoke detailing and contemporary design along with modern engineered stairs. With our combined facilities we are able to offer over 70 years of creative experience in staircase engineering and design. Kevala Stairs operates throughout the UK, Channel Islands, Republic of Ireland and now Scandinavia.
Staircase design and installation
With the design agreed with all parties concerned, precise measurements are taken at the installation site and production drawings produced. Unlike ordinary stairs which may be fitted at any stage in the construction process. These staircases are pieces of architectural furniture. Installation is ideally suited when floor and wall finishes are complete. All Kevala Stairs component parts are precision cut and hand crafted. They are then taken to site, assembled and installed by our experts, whose craftsmanship is evident in the finished product.
Our teams are able to adapt to customers' specific requirements, to develop and achieve a staircase design that is both innovative and technologically advanced. Kevala Stairs is able to enhance and develop a staircase which satisfies the architects need for creative design and the engineer’s requirements for safety.

Kevala Stairs is able to offer differing design choices; straight stairs, spiral stairs, curved and helical stairs amongst an endless possibility of exciting stair designs. Our staircases can be constructed in a multitude of materials including:

Wooden stairs
Our wooden stairs can feature mortised strings or cut strings, can be straight or curved, feature self-supporting engineered strings for flying landings. With the "Harmony" system, no strings at all. The treads can be 40mm or 50mm thick, more if required. The possibilities are almost endless with our wooden stairs.
Stainless-steel and glass stairs
Our stainless steel and glass stairs can be standalone, together or can be combined with traditional timber. We are able offer bespoke stairs with cutting-edge engineered design.
Concrete stairs
We have an exciting new range of concrete stairs based on a design used for hundreds of years in Italian castles and towers.
These stairs offer dynamic design and breath taking stunning shapes. They can incorporate any style of finish including glass, marble or wood.
Traditional stairs
We also supply all types of traditionally turned stair components including curtail steps and continuous hand railing systems.
