The company has recently launched IQ Heated Glass into the UK market and has been featured on Channel 4's Grand Designs and Restoration Man.

Products

IQ Glass has a design engineering department which is overseen by a fully qualified structural engineer who can provide a warranty for the designs, which are fully backed by Professional Indemnity insurance. The IQ Glass contracting division deals with technical and costing enquiries and supplies and install all types of glazing in an efficient and professional manner.

The product range includes:

IQ Heated Glass

IQ Heated Glass is a revolutionary system that can be installed as the main or sole heat source within a building in all types of windows and doors. Heated glass eliminates the need for traditional heating systems that are expensive to run and often require maintenance. Connected to the electrical wiring concealed within the walls of the room and frame of the window, IQ Heated Glass heats interior spaces with radiant heat. The radiated heat offers a dramatic, comfortable feeling and reduces the circulation of dust. Easy to install, operate and maintain, IQ Glass is guaranteed against moisture, condensation and from dust particles in between the panes. The heated glass system works by warming the inside glass surface to a temperature which is higher than that of the interior room and completely eliminates drafts.

IQ Heated Glass is easily controlled with any new or existing thermostat or remote control devices including control from a computer or car. The sensors on the glass rationalise the times when heating is required. The heated glass is energy efficient, eco-friendly, non-polluting and a healthy way to heat a building. IQ Heated Glass offers a U-Value of 0.92 W/m2K. Heated glass systems are available with optional extras including anti-theft devices which are linked to an alarm system, laminated glass, bullet-proofing, soundproofing, microprocessor glass regulation and a triple glazing option. Privalite is privacy glass that becomes opaque at the flick of a switch and solar reflective glass.

IQ Glass Mirrors

IQ Glass has developed a range of mirrors that are steam-free and offer radiant heating. Designed to individual specification, IQ glass mirrors eliminate condensation, can be used as a main heat source, are maintenance free and space saving. The mirrors are suitable for bathrooms, toilets, swimming pools, spas, gyms and beauty salons. A wide range of bespoke sizes, frame options and design styles are available.

IQ Glass Conservatories

IQ Glass offers a range of unique Keller conservatories that can be combined with IQ Heated Glass for year round comfort and can arrange graphic presentations, building works, installation and aftercare.

Minimal Windows

IQ Minimal sliding windows are constructed with extremely slender profiles, offering maximum views. The head and base sections of the system are flush fitted into the floor and soffit to create a frameless perimeter. The thermally broken system is available colour coded to blend with adjacent finishes or to contrast. In typical residential applications requiring 2/3 panels, only 1 or 2 vertical members are visible in the glazing. The panels are available in sizes of up to 8m sq and easily glide over a stainless steel sliding rail. An EPDM gasket can be pre-installed into the base for weatherproofing. Other optional features include IQ Heated Glass or IQ Super Insulation Glass, electro locking, mechanical locking and auto operation with a safety cut-out device to prevent trapping injuries.

Super Insulating Units

Heat Mirror super insulating glass is manufactured in Belgium by Glas Ceyssens and incorporates a polyester film between two panes of low-E glass. Heat Mirror achieves a U-value of 0.58W/m2K and is suitable for windows, roofs and facades. The super insulating units are specified for installation within carbon neutral homes.

Key benefits of Heat Mirror include:

  • Superior insulating performance that reduces energy costs and improves comfort
  • Triple glazing performance in a double glazed weight
  • UV protection blocking 99.5% of UV
  • Draught elimination
  • Noise pollution reduction
  • A 25-30 year life expectancy
  • Superior solar shading reduces cooling expenses
