IGuzzini UK Ltd

Established in 1958, IGuzzini manufactures internal and external lighting fixtures. The company is a European leader in technical and architectural lighting and is part of the Fimag group, whose head quarters are in Eastern Italy. IGuzzini has received many awards for its products, including the Express recessed down-lighter and the iBlock.

Products

Internal Lighting

There are six product lines available with a variety of models:

• Sivra Compact is an aluminium light, suitable for both ceiling and wall mounting.
• Line up Wall Washer is fitted into the recess of a false ceiling to illuminate the area.
• Express recessed LED spot light is an innovative down lighter with dual rotation; available in four sizes.
• Light Air Biodynamic Light: uses a fluorescent lamp with colour temperatures.
• light Equalizer: This can control how much light is being used in the room at any time.
• Central and Controller; available in grey.
• Biodynamic Quick: available in grey or white.

External Lighting

Indirect Lighting Systems for urban areas:

• Nuvola: Uniform, glare-free lighting; comprises a polyester resin diffuser screen. To be mounted at 15 degrees for optimum lighting.
• Mininuvola: smaller version of Nuvola; can be wall-mounted; diffuser screen; available in grey.

Direct Lighting systems for urban areas.

The portfolio includes the IRoad, Lavinia, Este, Argo among many others (16 in total).

• Lavinia: manufactured from aluminium; tilts up or down; designed for areas of low traffic and residential areas; emits glare- free, even light.
• Argo: suitable for areas with medium traffic flow; downward lighting reduces light pollution; available in black and grey.

Light Management Systems

• Open Systems: DLC Master 1, DALI Touch easy, Scene Equaliser and Master Pro.
• Pre-programmed systems "Plug and Play": Biodynamic Quick, Colour Equaliser, Colour Quick, Light Equaliser and Effect Equaliser.

IGuzzini is a company with a significant history in the design and engineering of lighting systems. The company is in touch with growing businesses and contemporary design and are this year’s sponsors of the SLTN design awards in Scotland. The company also collaborated with Birmingham City Council for the lighting of the town hall on Red Nose Day.
