Glasstrends is a member of the British Safety Council and all of its shower enclosures are made from toughened safety glass. This is an exceptionally strong product which would fracture into small pieces with dull edges in the unlikely event of a breakage. British and European safety standard BS EN 12150:2000 and impact tests BS EN 12600:2002 are met.
There is a choice of standard or ultra clear low iron glass. The standard glass has a natural green hue whereas the low iron glass is hardly visible against a white background. Glasstrends expert technical team can advise on ways of personalising the shower glass, by using options to add colour or texture.
The design process extends to tailoring hinges, handles and fixings to the customer’s requirements. There is a comprehensive range of hinges and handles on offer and the fixings choice includes adjustable and concealed versions. Custom-made fittings and handles are also available on request.
All the shower enclosures and doors can be also be supplied with the option of a Clearshield coating to the glass. This long-lasting barrier makes the surface easier to clean, resisting staining from lime scale and bacteria growth.

Glasstrends is confident about the quality of its products and includes a 10-year guarantee on the glass, metal fixtures and fittings and a five-year guarantee on the installation. Polycarbonate door seals are guaranteed for three years.
