F.H Brundle is a long established family-run business, specialising in the supply of wrought iron and steel products throughout the UK. Founded in 1889, the company has kept successful by moving with the times when it comes to product lines, but maintaining the traditional values of excellent service and customer care, backed up by competitive prices.
The product range covers more than 8,500 items and includes wrought iron components, wire mesh, handrailing, perforated and expanded metal, fencing and flooring. Diversification to meet demands means that products such as composite decking boards and landscaping products are now stocked, along with components for in-vogue glass balustrading. The website is kept up-to-date and includes useful information on apps for metalworkers and Brundle’s own free ironwork design tool.
In keeping with the personal touch now carried on by the fifth generation Michael Brundle, the company runs its own transport fleet to ensure that deliveries are made as promised. More than 60 vehicles include everything from a 44-tonne artic to smaller vans for customer sites with restricted access.
F.H. Brundle has six branches across the UK and a 200,000 sq ft distribution warehouse centrally based at Burton-on-Trent, ensuring a fast and efficient delivery service across virtually all the UK and swift re-stocking of branches. Delivery is free for orders over £150.

- Wrought iron components - Over 4000 items available including rail heads, post tops, balustrading, railing bars, decorative tops, handrail sections, holed bars, spindles, and door furniture enable high quality railings, gates or decorative ironwork to be created for domestic or commercial environments. Stainless steel components are also available.
- Gate hardware - A range of products to aid the manufacture of swing and slide gates including locks, cantilever gate components, sliding gate motors, wheels, tracks, closers, stops, wooden gate accessories and hinges.
- Gate automation - With a three year guarantee, products available are swing and sliding gate motors, barriers, garage door openers, intercoms and accessories such as remote access controls and control boards.
- Welded wire mesh - A huge range of mild, galvanised and stainless steel mesh, in light to industrial heavy gauges, available cut to size. Products include self colour, security fencing, 304 and 316 stainless steel mesh, pvc welded mesh, mesh clips and accessories and mesh infill panels.
- Woven wire mesh - This versatile material is available in stainless, galvanised and mild steel, aluminium, brass and copper, cut to required size. Soffit mesh is also available.
- Expanded metal - Mild and stainless steel and aluminium, raised or flattened, with varying thicknesses and hole sizes. All can be coated using various methods to suit the application.
- Perforated metal - Numerous sizes available from stock including mild, stainless and galvanised steel, aluminium and zinc. Decorative perforated brass also supplied.
- Edging and Framing Sections - Rectangular, round, square and triangular shaped edging for varied sheet and mesh thicknesses, available in mild, galvanised and stainless steel.
- Tube clamps - For use with temporary or permanent handrails, safety barriers, display stands and racking fitted simply with an Allen key or ratchet key. Includes DDA ranges meeting part M of building regs. Also a large range of fittings.
- Handrailing and components - An enormous range of products including stainless steel and aluminium railing systems from respected manufacturers such as Pro Railing, Marano and Mezzirail, roof edge protection, modular Juliet balcony systems, plus all accessories including clamps, brackets and lighting.
- Flooring and stairtreads - Many products are available in a range of materials and sizes to provide safe and durable floor surfaces. They include open steel flooring and stair treads, industrial gratings and stairtreads, aluminium treadplates, anti-slip planking, GRP flooring and treads, durbar sheets and treads, tactile flooring and weather-resistant composite decking boards along with necessary fixings.
- Fencing and Security - A vast choice of fencing for varied applications including palisade in galvanised steel or GRP, mesh panels, security fencing and posts, chain link, barbed wire, fencing spikes, stock fence, wire netting, parkland fencing and temporary safety fencing. Also available are Armco crash barrier systems.
- Steel bars and sections - An enormous range of steel sections, angles, beams, columns, sheets and plates and assorted sizes for different applications are available from stock.
