Evolution Skateparks is a Dorset-based company specialising in the manufacture of skate park equipment for public and private use. The components created by this company are interchangeable to increase variation. The products are inexpensive, non-permanent alternatives to concrete ramps. Evolution has installed over 70 skate parks around the country, primarily in the South.

Products

• Quarter Pipes: available 2 to 10 foot high; allows the rider to turn around and pick up speed simultaneously; manufactured from galvanised steel.
• Mini/Midi ramps: small half pipes which enable the rider to perform tricks without losing momentum. Available in 3-6 ft. Midi ramps come in 7-9 ft.
• Jump Boxes: a launch ramp found at the centre of the skate park; available in 2ft-6 ft, range of transition radius and landing angles.
• Driveways: can be combined with above items to form a more challenging obstacle. Available in 1ft- 5 ft high with a range of back angles.
• Spine Ramps and Volcanoes: consist of two quarter pipes placed back to back. Available in 2ft -6ft high, with a range of transition radius.
• Flat banks: can be hung onto the side of another ramp; used for turning around; offered 1 ft to 6 ft high.
• Grind boxes, planters and grind rails: incorporated metal edges used for grinding tricks and offered in any height, width angle or length. The rails offer raised tubular bars which can be free standing or incorporated into the ramp. Can be square or round tubing.
• Grind benches: these can double up as seating; available in single and double, with a range of dimensions.
• Floor obstacles: offer low level obstacles to perform street-style skating. These include levels, sharps and edges and can be custom made to order.
• Furniture: seating, metal signs, waste bins and shelters are all custom made to make a skate park look welcoming.

Evolution Skateparks is committed to the safety of its customers, offering heavy-duty railings which exceed the ROSPA recommended height. The company also prioritises integration with their custom built furniture, such as seating and shelters for spectators. The ramp technology includes such features as galvanised in-fills, which prevents the build up of litter and reduces the likely hood of vandalism to the ramps.
