Elite Precast Concrete is a leading UK manufacturer of precast concrete products. Every product is cast from the same premium quality, high strength (50N/mm2) concrete. The manufacturing facilities operate within an approved BS EN 1917 quality system and Elite is one of the few manufacturers of precast concrete products to have an on-site purpose-built testing facility. All blocks are Class A1 fire resistant. The huge range of “semi-dry” and “wet cast” products are supplied to small and large companies across every sector of UK industry, at clear and constant price structures.
With many years’ experience and expert staff, Elite Precast Concrete is able to find cost-effective solutions to the trickiest of customer requests. Fully bespoke products can be designed to individual specifications if required, but the customer service and technical teams are also renowned for their ability to modify standard products to meet specific needs - offering big time and cost savings against a custom product.
A nationwide delivery service is offered and with 2½ acres of stocking space at Telford, most products can be delivered between 24 hours and 48 hours after receipt of order. International delivery is also available.
Products
Interlocking Blocks
Elite pioneered the manufacture of interlocking blocks for fire breaks, retaining and push walls and remains the largest producer of these three block types.
- Vee™ Interlocking Blocks - Innovative blocks that lock together both horizontally and vertically. The unique V shaped system along the base, sides and top give great strength and stability in the toughest of applications. No special foundations are required. All blocks are 610mm square in cross section, but come in various lengths.
- Duo™ Interlocking Blocks - These 'lego' type blocks provide a simple, robust and cost-effective solution for many applications, enabling structures to be speedily created on any firm surface. Available in three sizes.
- Legato™ Interlocking Blocks - The ultimate interlocking block, with the name meaning 'tied together'. Legato blocks are extremely durable and have their own cast-in lifting pin. Each block will build 1.28m sq of wall, so providing a very speedy solution in a host of applications.
Ballast Blocks
- Kentledge blocks - A wide choice of weights, lengths and widths of kentledge blocks are available to use as ballast or counterweights for fencing, hoarding or scaffolding or to give extra stability to wire ropes.
- Counterweight block - Various Elite products can be used as counterweight blocks for fall arrest systems or heavy lifting equipment. Tailor-made blocks can also be made.
- Sea anchor blocks - Precast concrete sea anchors are available in a wide range of sizes, or can be manufactured to requirements. There is a choice of galvanised steel lifting and guide hoops.
Service Protection Products
- Channels, ducts and troughs are available in many sizes to provide secure, visible cover for utility installations. Lids offer easy access for maintenance and repair. Bespoke sizes can be made.
- Cable protection cover tiles - or route markers - are available in five sizes and can be imprinted with warning signs.
- Indicator posts and blocks to mark underground services are manufactured in several forms in accordance with BS 1881.
- Precast concrete slabs reinforced with steel mesh, for protecting gas mains and high voltage cable, are available as a standard 2450 x 1000 x 200mm slab or in bespoke sizes and thicknesses.
Security Barriers
- Elite's interlocking blocks can all be used to form security barriers at sites or business premises. All systems come with integral lifting options and can be painted with company colours.
- Jersey barriers are another Elite product cast from high strength concrete. These interlocking 2500mm long barriers are easy to install and will provide a heavy duty system ideal for security, traffic management, flood defence or rock fall protection.
- Temporary Vertical Concrete Barriers complying with EN 1317 standards for road restraint systems are available direct from stock for next day delivery.
Drainage Products
- Seating Rings/Adjusting Rings - These 65mm deep units come as single or two parts options and can be quickly installed by semi skilled labour.
- Gully Covers/Raisers - A cost effective alternative to bricks, available as a square or U shape, in two thicknesses.
- Manhole Cover Slabs - Heavy duty reinforced slabs manufactured to BS 5911-3 standard in three diameters and various standard and non-standard sized access holes.
- Dam Spillway Blocks - Wedge-shaped blocks bespoke manufactured to specific requirements.
