EPS Construction Products
EPS products can be used in a wide range of building, construction and insulation applications. The company can provide technical support and expertise, with a fast response and bespoke design service. Quotations and precise samples are available for the most complex designs, CAD design and CAM machinery provides consistency. Products include:
- Insulation board in various sizes
- Block used for major motorway, embankment and shopping centre projects
- EPS sheet to BS EN 13163 includes Supertherm sheet for a superior thermal rating and is available to Fire Class E and Construction sheet
- Kore Fill bonded bead cavity wall insulation is EPS injected in bead form into a cavity and solidifies when mixed with a bonding agent to provide a thermally efficient insulation for new and existing buildings. The cavity can still breath, but will not absorb water and water cannot transfer into the inner leaf
- Void formers, pipe saddles, column formers and profiles for metal sections and steel channels
- Bolt boxes in industry standard sizes tapering from 50mm to 75mm, custom sizes are also available
Graphics and Display
EPS is ideal for producing shapes and logos and the design team can produce tailor-made shapes from small pieces to amazing tower structures. The bespoke designed products are created to exact specification for theatres, stages and sets and media products as well as display, exhibition, conference, entertainment and other events using CAD/CAM design and manufacture. Any creative requirement can be catered for, including logos, letters, numbers, signs, statues and models. Client’s designs can be easily sent via email such as drawings, scanned images and complex 3D shapes. A flame retardant EPS material is also available upon request.
EPS Packaging
EPS is perfect for packaging purposes as it can be easily shaped and profiled using CAD/CAM technology. The shaping and profiling can be carried out to exactly fit and accommodate any product. Pads, sheets, edged pieces, fillers, cushions, corners, ornate shapes, composite packs for delicate products and loose chippings are all examples of packaging available from Eccleston and Hart. There are various grades of EPS available to satisfy the requirements of industries such as: automotive, marine, filtration, acoustics, business, electronic, cosmetics, sports, furniture and many more.
EPS Block
Eccleston and Hart’s EPS block mould manufactures products to a maximum size of 2540 x 1250 x 655mm or 2540 x 1270 x 1040mm depending upon the mould and is available in twelve standard grades with target weights ranging from 10 kg/m3 through to 40 kgm/3. Every grade is also available in a fire retardant bead at no extra cost.
EPS Bead
EPS fire retardant bead can be specified for numerous purposes such as filling bean bags of varying shapes and sizes or for cavity wall insulation. The bead is supplied in 0.283 cubic metre bags with a bead size of 2-8mm diameter and a weight of 10kg per metre cubed. The beads can be purchased via the internet shop.
Machinery
Eccleston and Hart has a range of new and used machinery for sale including hot wire equipment, a wrapping machinery, cutters and replacement parts. The machinery available for sale does change and the website is updated regularly.
Recycling
EPS is a more acceptable form of packaging as it is lightweight and recyclable. EPS contains no CFC’s, HCFC’s or fibre and has a zero ODP rating. It is also chemically inert and contains no biological or physiological irritant. Around 100 tonnes of EPS is recycled every month by breaking it up into bead form for block moulding or compacting scrap granulated material for bricks used for garden furniture, plant pots, roof tiles, picture frames and other plastic products.
