Easibathe & Easiaccess manufacture, supply and install specialist bathing, hoist and access equipment for the elderly and less able. The company has grown considerably since the inception in 1991 but in spite of the increase in company size, the company has managed to foster its small family business culture and retain its family values. A significant number of the core staff have been with the company for many years and indeed have helped to create the family culture that works so successfully.

Services
In addition to the sales expertise, the company also has a range of services that are designed to provide the best customer experience possible. These services complement the customer process and ensure that the correct specification is met every time.
- Survey & Quotation: Easibathe and Easiaccess survey teams provide detailed product knowledge and advice on which products best suit a client's needs. Easiplan, the company's custom designed software, allows end users and specifiers to view before and after 2D and 3D images of any proposed installation of both bathing and access products. The computer generated images can be viewed from any angle, have fantastic customisation with superb aesthetics. This service is available to both supply only and supply & installation clients.
- Installation: A full installation service is offered for everything from small adaptation works to large-scale refurbishment schemes. The installation teams are fully trained to carry out site preparation and installation with a variety of additional works. Team members are quick and efficient ensuring that each installation creates minimum disruption and when complete the area is left clean and tidy. Easibathe installs bathing equipment to a wide range of Local Authorities, Housing Associations, private clients and businesses.
- Assessment Areas: Bathing and access assessment areas are provided to give clients the opportunity to view and trial a selection of the company's products before an installation takes place.
- Training Room: A training/seminar room fully equipped with the latest audiovisual technology can accommodate around 35 people. It is an invaluable tool available to all clients for product training or in certain cases for their own professional use. Standard training packages or customised seminars are available to any organisation working within the adaptation sector.
- After Sales & Technical Support: Highly trained staff are available before and after a sale or installation to ensure the right equipment is specified. Technical phone support and on site assistance are readily accessible.
- Warehousing Capabilities: People responsible for managing inventories or supply chains need look no further. Easibathe & Easiaccess have extensive warehousing capabilities allowing for stock items to be dispatched same-day or at the latest within a 24-hour period. This facility enables the company to respond immediately to customers' changing demands.
Accreditation
Easibathe is registered with the following official bodies to ensure all of its installation work is carried out to the highest standard:
GAS SAFE – By law, anyone carrying out work on gas installations and appliances in the home must be on the Gas Safe Register.
CHAS – Easibathe are CHAS accredited, dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard.
Constructionline – Constructionline provides the pre-qualification tool for use in financial standing, technical references and other areas. The CHAS management group supports the principles of a single register and so works jointly with Constructionline.
NICEIC – NICEIC is the electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary body for electrical installation matters throughout the UK. NICEIC registration not only demonstrates to customers and specifiers your skills and professionalism, it also gives peace of mind that our products and services are the best in the industry.
ISO 9001 – ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for an organisation's internal Quality Management. Work Experience
With over 15 years experience in the adaptation market, Easibathe & Easiaccess have built up a strong customer base including:
- Local Authorities including Newcastle, Gateshead, South Tyneside & Leeds. The company has a number of large value contracts with local authorities for both the supply and installation of bathing, hoist and access equipment.
- Housing Associations including Stafford & Rural Homes, Housing 21. Easibathe & Easiaccess work closely with many housing associations providing them with both supply and installation services of bathing, hoisting and access equipment.
- Public Buildings including Police Stations, Schools, Hospitals & Prisons. This is a growing market especially for access equipment due to the DDA changes. Easiaccess has designed and manufactured a number of new components for its metal modular ramp system, to ensure that it is suitable for mixed public use.
As well as the above, the company deals with tradesman, contractors, builders’ & plumbers’ merchants, charities, private clients and many more.
Awards
- Best Exterior Product Award 2008: The Metal Modular Ramp System was presented with this award at the Interbuild exhibition, which is the UK's leading construction show.
- Best New Product Award 2000: The Excellent Ramp System was launched at the Disability North exhibition in 2000 and won the best new product award at the show.
- North East Small Business of The Year Award For Tyne & Wear 2008: Receiving this award was an excellent achievement for the company and staff.
Environmental statement
Easibathe & Easiaccess are dedicated to reducing the company’s carbon footprint and many steps have already been taken to ensure that this happens:

- Vehicle tracking for efficient working & fuel consumption

The company is working towards ISO: 14001, which is the international specification for an environmental management system. It specifies requirements for establishing an environmental policy, determining environmental aspects and impacts of products/activities/services. It also includes planning environmental objectives and measurable targets, the implementation and operation of programmes to meet objectives and targets, checking and corrective action, and management review. Corporate responsibility is something that the company takes very seriously.
