Chemfix Products Ltd is a market leading manufacturer and exporter of chemical anchoring, building adhesives and wood repair products to the private label professional market. In addition to manufacturing a range of building products including concrete repair and brick adhesives under the Metolux brand, Chemfix also supplies a professional epoxy wood repair system to local authorities, wood restoration companies and major paint distributors under the Timbabuild brand.
Its customer base spans over 40 countries worldwide in 7 continents and its multilingual sales team have a detailed knowledge of the export sales market and can assist proficiently with advice on products, label design, technical literature and product samples for your own brand.
Employing over 60 staff, the production base houses sophisticated mixing equipment, cartridge filling lines, and high-speed labeling and packing lines.
The entire product range is manufactured and delivered directly from its site at Dewsbury which allows greater control and efficiency. The delivery service is next day for Metolux and Timbabuild products, and a maximum 10 working day manufacturing time for private label orders.
In addition to its 9001:2008 quality accreditation, Chemfix products ltd achieved the ISO 14001 environmental management standard across its entire operation, as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainable manufacturing. In 2010 products patents have been filed and awarded - ChubSeal® the self opening cartridge system and the T-Flow™Mixer.

Products
The new technical laboratory and test centre is committed to the development and testing of both new and existing products. This has increased the number of product approvals such as a European (CE) approval for chemical anchoring, riba approval for Timbabuild and a BBA approval for metofix and metofast.
Chemical Anchoring
Modern fastening technology is becoming increasingly important in civil and structural engineering and chemical anchoring is becoming an increasingly popular fixing method. Every year chemical anchors are becoming the first choice for the millions of fixings that are installed into concrete and masonry on construction sites around the world, due to their versatility, strength & durable nature.
Chemfix specialize in the manufacturer of two-part chemical anchoring resin in cartridges. The cartridges are extruded through a helical mixer nozzle, such as the T-Flow™Mixer directly into the fixing hole. The resin mix is reacting immediately while the fixing stud is inserted, and after a defined cure time will harden to provide a secure bond.
Resin Range - Chemfix supplies a variety of different resins types and cartridges for specific applications.
Vinyl Ester - with a European Approval designed for very high and safety critical loads.
Pure Epoxy - An extremely high strength fixing for rebar, large and deep holes. It can also be used underwater.
Epoxy Acrylate Styrene Free - A low odour resin with very high chemical resistance qualities.
Polyester Styrene Free - Suitable for medium load, masonry or hollow wall applications.
Cartridge Range
Chemfix offers different dispensing systems in cartridge form;
Chubpac® and ChubSeal® cartridges - these cartridges can be extruded using the most common extrusion tools. The resin and hardener are housed inside a foil bag inside the cartridge body. Chubseal cartridges can be used immediately with a low extrusion force.
Coaxial and Side by Side (SBS) - cartridges which are common in the chemical anchoring sector.
Mixer Range - The T-Flow™Mixer offers superior mixing for less extrusion force, and a shorter length for easier packaging. Four variants are available each being suitable for every cartridge and resin type.
Accessories Range - a host of accessories including drill hole cleaning ancillaries, mixer extensions, site cases, pneumatic tools and tension testing equipment are also supplied.
Metolux Products
The two areas of the Metolux range are;
Building products: Epoxy and polyester concrete repair compounds and epoxy bonding adhesives used to repair broken surfaces, bond sections of cut brick, metal, glass or stone. These products are used in the UK by specialist brick cutting companies, maintenance and repair contractors and DIY.
Wood repair products: With a renowned reputation since the 1960’s amongst joiners, DIY, and wood work professionals, the Metolux wood repair range has developed into a one part air drying wood filler for small repairs and a two part chemical compound filler for larger repair areas, which is either supplied in a pre matched colour stain or as a stainable product once cured. Repairs all known wood types.
Timbabuild Super Tough Epoxy Wood Repair
Local authorities will benefit by repairing old rotten timber windows, doors and other timber structures, in situ, rather than replacing with new units.
Timbabuild today is therefore targeted at the specific professional user market such as local authorities, renovation specialists and professional window companies. The ERC rapid formula is particularly suited to "same-day" "on the spot" repairs undertaken by timber repair companies.
Timbabuild has the benefit of an epoxy based formulation making it strong and durable, and the EHB high build product is lightweight and mouldable making it ideal for vertical and overhead repairs. The adhesive qualities of these products make them ideal for Timber Splicing, and Conservation Joints.
