CD (UK) Company Profile
CD (UK) Ltd was established in 1979 as the first Corian® solid surface distributor in the UK. Corian® is the original solid surface material which is made up of a unique blend of minerals and acrylic that creates a stone-hard surface that can be shaped to meet any design or dimension. Corian® is widely used both domestically and commercially for a wide range of uses including worksurfaces, showers and enclosures, reception desks, bar tops, tables, food serveries, exterior and interior wall cladding, basins, bath surrounds, window sills, sinks and much more.
Over the last thirty years, the company founders have created an infrastructure of dealers and fabricators to support the business, bringing Corian® to numerous customers and end users. A new machinery division has been introduced selling Elkom, langzauner and EMC for solid surface thermoforming, veneer cutting, edge jointing and sanding technology.
Corian®
Corian® has a non-porous finish which prevents dirt and stains from penetrating the material and is very easy to clean. Corian® is extremely resistant to high temperatures and heavy stains and scratches can be easily removed with a household cleaner. Corian® has proven itself to be exceptionally durable and versatile and is well suited to both commercial and domestic environments. The solid nature of Corian® and its ability to be cut and joined inconspicuously together, using a DuPont adhesive, allows for a virtually limitless number of shapes and designs. Other key features include:
