All the fire resistant, acoustic and bespoke fire door sets are fabricated within the company’s modern manufacturing facility using state-of-the-art computer aided technology and machinery.
Fields Fire Doors
Fields Fire Door Sets have been developed to satisfy the demanding requirements for fire resistance between 30 and 120 minutes. Every door is manufactured to the client’s exact specification from a huge array of options. The finishes available include wood veneer, laminate, PVC, decorative metal or painted in any colour. Vision panels can be incorporated into the doors in various sizes, shapes and bead details. The fire doors are fully tested to BS 476 Part 22:1987 and C W Fields is registered under the BM-TRADA ‘Q’ Mark Scheme for Fire Resistant Doors.
Fire resistant doors are specified for a wide range of applications to protect the workforce, visitors and the public and are commonly seen in theatres, concert halls, international sports venues, offices, hospitals, schools, universities, hotels and many other buildings. Every fire door manufactured by C W Fields can be supplied as FSC or PEFC Chain of Custody. The range of fire doors available includes:

Fields Acoustic Doors
C W Fields designs and manufactures a range of acoustic door sets which are now widely specified in educational facilities, offices, hotels, conference centres, hospitals, doctor’s surgeries, sporting venues and public buildings to reduce the transference of noise within a building. Fields Acoustic Door Sets have been tested to BS EN ISO 140-3:1995 and are available in single and double door configurations.
Each acoustic door set incorporates up to 44dBRw sound attenuation, 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes fire resistance, a wood veneered, laminated, stained or painted finish, a range of vision panel options and factory fitted fire, acoustic and smoke seals. Options include:
- AD 44 doors are a standard 64mm thick and are constructed from a high performance timber based composite core encapsulated by hardwood stiles and rails which are faced with MDF, plywood or chipboard
- AD 38 doors are a standard 54mm thick and are constructed from a high performance laminated timber core faced with MDF, plywood or chipboard
Fields Panelling
Fields’ bespoke wooden panel doors and wall panels are available in numerous timber options and come with FSC or PEFC Chain of Custody certification. The door sets come with a 30 or 60 minute fire resistance to BS 476 Part 22:1987 standard and incorporate raised and fielded or flat panels, various panel configurations, vision panels with a choice of glass options, bespoke design and single or double door and over panel options. Fields Specialist Services
These fire doors satisfy challenging design specifications. The key features of the doors include large door leaves, metallic facings, veneer laminate or metallic inlays, copper light glazing and tough PVC face and edge protection.
Fields Hygiene Doors
Fields Hygiene Door Sets have been specifically developed to meet the exacting standards of hospitals, surgeries, medical centres, healthcare product processing and research facilities. Fields Hygiene range of PVC or laminated fully encapsulated door sets are available with 30 or 60 minutes fire resistance and offer acoustic reduction values of 35dBRw to 38dBRw. Single and double doors with over panel configurations are available with optional vision panel designs. The doors are HTM 58 compliant and there is the option of contrasting coloured door edge for DDA compliance.
Fields X-ray Doors
This specialist door set range has been designed to provide radiation protection within environments such as hospitals and medical centres. The doors are available with 30 or 60 minutes fire resistance in single and double door configurations.
Fields Security Doors
Especially developed for organisations that need to protect valuable assets and data behind secure closed doors, Fields Security Door Sets are a real tough act to follow. We offer a choice of finishes including wood veneer, paint and plastic laminate. All door sets can be supplied to the chain of custody certification, are fully tested and assessed to the LPS 1175 standard, and are available as FD30 and FD60 fire ratings.
Fields Bespoke Joinery
C W Fields has the experience and knowledge to provide a total package encompassing the design, manufacture and supply of bespoke joinery to both the commercial and public sectors. This exceptional bespoke service is carried out to a superior standard by experienced bench joiners within the CAD facility.
