C-Caps (UK) Limited is a small specialist company based in the north east and run by local directors Michael Coates and Brian Clubley.
Dedicated entirely to the manufacture and supply of the ‘C-Cap’, the company takes pride in supplying a faultless product to customers throughout the UK, coupled with friendly and reliable service to ensure its customers get what they want, when they want it, and always at a highly competitive price.
Of unique and innovative design, the C-Cap was launched some ten years ago and immediately received an enthusiastic response from architects, engineers, chimney sweeps, contractors and other professionals involved in chimney maintenance.
Made from ‘Styrosun’, which is a special tough plastic with high UV resistance, the C-Cap is quick and easy to fit and it is simple and light enough to allow several at a time to be carried up to the stack by ladder.
Designed for long life (estimated at 20-25 years) it guarantees 100% protection from everything Mother Nature can throw at it and many tens of thousands are now fitted to grateful chimneys from Cornwall to Kent in the south and as far north as The Orkneys.
An ‘insect screen’ is also supplied with each cap, which many customers with bee swarm problems wished they had known about before their chimney was invaded.
The C-Cap is available in ‘terracotta’ or ‘buff’ colour’ and will fit any standard round chimney pot up to 280mm external diameter.
