A recent development has been the introduction of punching shear reinforcement rails which are arranged around central columns on new construction projects involving high rise commercial buildings e.g. hospitals, multi-storey car parks, etc.
The system comprised of a number of high strength double headed forged rebar studs (500/MM2) which are welded at equi-spaced distances into connecting steel strips at one end.
Lengths of up to 2m can be accommodated for use in conjunction with concrete slabbing.

We produce and stock Products available for despatch from our warehouse and manufacture 'Non-Standard' Products daily to our clients own specifications:
Foundation Bolts and square plate sizes supplied from stock. Indented Foundation Bolts, J-Bolts, L-Bolts, Special Bolts, Square Square bolts to BS7419, Hammered t Bolts, Tie Bars and U bolts.
Thread sizes: M6-M100 (1/4”-4”) with maximum lengths up to 5000mm Structural Tie Bars and Turnbuckles are stocked at Brooks with threads from M6-M100 (1/4”-4”) with bar lengths up to 6 meters. We specialise in ‘non-standards’ producing larger bar lengths which can be used with Hexagon Couplings or Turnbuckle Assemblies. Other end fittings and Hi Tensile Steels are also available.
Various types of U-Bolts, Including Square Back, Flat Back, Saddle Back, Stepped U-Bolts and N-Bolts with material thread sizes ranging from: 4mm to 100mm dia, imperial thread sizes BSW, BSF, UNC, UNF are also available. Leg Lengths from 25mm to 2500mm.
Eyebolts supplied to: DIN 444, DIN 580, DIN 582, BS 4278, BS 529, BS 3974 and BS 5655 with Thread Sizes: M6 to M100 and imperial thread forms BSW, BSF, UNC and UNF. The range includes: bow nuts, collard eyebolts, dynamo, palm and shackle eyebolts, lift suspension eyebolts, round section eyebolts, sling-rod, swivel and adjustable gate eyebolts to name a selection. They are also available with increased or reduced eye thickness or with integral forged eyes. Standard Shackles are stocked in our warehouse awaiting call-off, we also produce Non-Standard Shackles daily with up to a maximum body diameter of 100mm.. Blanks can be machined prior to despatch and supplied with standard or non-standard pins.
