Windows

• New Era

With a choice of side or top hung or mock sash, this stormproof window range is manufactured in FSC/PEFC approved Scandinavian redwood to suit many styles of home. Offering a choice of cill sizes, left or right opening on the side hung, and options of engineered laminated softwood, hardwood or Accoya, this popular range provides unbeatable versatility.

• Glenfield

Ideal for replacing older wooden window frames, the Glenfield features a variety of glazing and hanging options in high performance engineered softwood or Scandinavian redwood frames. If side hung the Glenfield has egress or reflex hinges, and when top hung it can be fully reversible.

• Vanguard

The Vanguard casement window, with acoustic glazing, offers extra strength and durability and is the premium choice where sound insulation, high security and unrivalled longevity are required. Available as side hung or top hung.

• Heritage Sliding Sash

There are three designs for this window - Blenheim, Chatsworth and Marlborough, to recreate the period home look but with modern energy and security standards. The Marlborough has the advantage of tilting panels. For conservation areas, Benlowe can supply the Chatsworth and Blenheim with single-glazed panes.

• Bespoke

The experts at Benlowe are able to design and manufacture one-off styles to give buildings unique character. Possibilities include curved windows and fully reversible hinged panes. As with the standard windows that are made to order, every window is tested against all required regulations and timber components are double vacuum impregnated with a preservative to prevent fungal decay and insect attack.

• Single doorsets

With over 35 styles to choose from in a number of traditional and contemporary colours, there is a Benlowe exterior wooden single door to suit buildings new and old. These doorsets can accommodate a range of glazing options helping to meet the latest thermal and energy efficient requirements. All are SBD certified with Kite marked 3* cylinders and stainless steel anti-jemmy hinges. The 57mm thick joinery doors feature traditional mortice and tenon joints and come in laminated softwood as standard with options of Sapele hardwood or Accoya. Bespoke sizes and alternative door furniture are available on request.

• Climate doorsets

Using only the highest quality fixtures and fittings, Climate doorsets are designed and manufactured with style and practicality in mind. Certified to PAS 24– 2016, Part Q of the Building Regulations, and Secured by Design, these externally glazed doorsets use a 54mm insulated door blank with options of Chen Chen, Sapele, or Oak-faced. They include TS007 compliant ironmongery in satin chrome, chrome, graphite, black or white.

• French doorsets

Traditional style French doors are timeless and Benlowe has a collection of eight styles. They are available in FSC certified Sapele hardwood or Accoya and laminated softwood. Certified to SBD and high levels of weather resistance, these 57mm solidly constructed doors come with various glazing options, providing impressive thermal benefits.

• Bifold Doors

Bi-fold doors are increasingly popular as a way to bring the outdoors in and increase natural light. Benlowe’s bifold doors use quality mechanisms to glide open effortlessly and feature effective thermal glazing for winter warmth. The huge choice of styles can have door leaves up to 2400mm high and 1000mm wide with a weight up to a 100kg per leaf. 57mm thick joinery doors featuring mortice and tenon joints are offered with an option of laminated Eucalyptus or Sapele. The master leaf features a Winkhaus Trulock multipoint lock and locking drop bolts are fitted as standard.

• Lift and Slide Patio Doors

The lift and slide system used in Benlowe’s patio doors collection is very easy to open and requires little space. With large glazed panels for maximum light, these doors reduce obstructions and suit homes with smaller gardens. Any number of doors can be fitted to meet specific requirements, with a door weight of up to 400kg. A soft-close option is available. Patio doors are anti-lift as standard with stainless steel anti-jemmy lugs and lockable from inside with no access externally, stopping any lock manipulation. Timber choices include laminated Eucalyptus or Sapele.

• Bespoke Doors

Bespoke sizes and alternative door furniture are available on request with Benlowe’s standard ranges, but for something unique, Benlowe will craft a truly bespoke exterior doorset reflecting the specifier’s ideals. All sorts of wood can be chosen, from oak to hemlock, and designs can feature intricate shapes such as curved heads and gothic rails. A choice of paints and stains completes the individual finish.

Other products

Benlowe provides a comprehensive range of cavity closers to ensure secure fitment of both windows and doors into cavity walls. The Benlowe profile system is for both masonry and timber frame construction and is suitable for cavity depths of between 75mm and 150mm. The Duraflex closer is fully approved by the BBA.
