Products

Armstrong World Industries has a vast array of acoustic ceilings available in a wide range of styles and acoustical ratings. Each product can be viewed on the company website where detailed technical specification can be found. The friendly and professional team at Armstrong will assist clients in specifying the most appropriate solution for any commercial application. The canopy solutions create stylish and unusual designs within open spaces and greatly enhance acoustics and lighting. For inspiration and visualisation there is an on-line programme called The Armstrong Book of Ideas which is an interactive experience to assist in selecting tiles and surface options, where designers and architects can see how the ceilings might look in a particular location.

Mineral Ceilings

The mineral ceilings range is available in Ultima, Perla, Sierra, Optima, Neeva/Nevada, Dune, Perla, Plain, Cirrus, Fine Fissured, Bioguard, Hydroboard, Ceramaguard, Mezzanine, Clean Room, Academy, Visual, Tatra, Graphis and Cortega options. The mineral ceilings are available in a wide range of dimensions from 600 x 600mm to 2500 x 300mm in various patterns and colours. Edge detail designs include board, tegular, Vector or microlook, shapes include canopy, large module, open cell, plank and tile options and dB ratings of between 24 and 41.

Metal Ceilings

Armstrong’s metal ceilings are available in plain, standard perforation, micro perforation, extra micro perforation and special perforations to provide specifiers with a comprehensive range of aesthetic options.

The metal range can be used with a choice of acoustic inlays developed to provide a wide range of performance values

Armstrong Metal ceilings solutions include Axal Vector, Board, MicroLook and Tegular, the Q-Clip, S-Clip F, T-Clip F, R-Clip and F-Clip Access, as well as R-H 200, R-H 215, R-L 201, W-H 1000, B-H 300, D-H 700, Cellio, and K-H 400.

Wood Ceilings

Armstrong’s wood range is available in tiles and planks and in laminate, for a durable and more affordable option, or veneer, where real wood gives a particularly prestigious, high-class solution. Both options are coated with a clear UV-enhanced and solvent-free lacquer that protects them from ageing and sunlight. The range was extended in 2013 to include a concealed system using hook-on panels on a standard grid in three panel sizes, five standard matt veneers and three perforation options for optimum acoustics.

Tech Zone

Tech Zone provides a bespoke solution for creating contemporary, technical zones with the guaranteed integration of market leading service elements. This system can be customised to integrate with various service elements such as light fixtures, loudspeakers, air diffusers, chilled beams and sprinkler systems. There is a wide range of tile materials and modules available to satisfy various design and acoustic demands. Tech Zone’s design flexibility enables the possibility to integrate continuous technical fixtures for clean visual aesthetics. Tech Zone can be used with the Axiom canopy, providing design solutions for thermal mass.

Suspension Ceilings

The Armstrong range of suspension systems offers a wide range of solutions for all ceiling suspension requirements including 15mm, 24mm, bandraster, designer grids and a comprehensive array of performance systems for applications such as swimming pools and high security. Also available is the Axiom range of perimeter solutions and a comprehensive range of bespoke size options within most ranges. Suspended system options include Axiom canopy, bandraster, clean room perimeters, concealed and semi-concealed systems, corrosive resistant perimeters, drywall grid systems, exposed grid, corrosive and clean room systems, general perimeters, metal grid systems and many more.

Walls

AlphaClass frames are pre-constructed framed panels which can be fitted simply and directly onto walls. The panels can be fitted in either portrait or landscape configurations, are eco-friendly and provide improved levels of intelligibility and concentration to any space. AlphaClass provides 0.90 Class A sound absorption, EEA Euroclass A2-s1,d0 fire reaction and is available in dimensions of between 600 x 1200 x 40mm to 600 x 1800 x 40mm in Nevada white.
