Amberol is a family operated business which was founded in 1969 and specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of self-watering systems for planters and hanging baskets, benches and commercial and industrial bins. The range of products has been carefully developed for cleaner and greener environments and all are individually designed to satisfy customer requirements.
Floral arrangements provide colourful, inviting and happy environments in parks, towns, cities and business headquarters and encourage more visitors. Amberol’s products have undergone many years of testing and are a vital aid in caring for the local surroundings in a practical and attractive way.
Services
Amberol has a team of product advisors located throughout the UK that can assist in the design of stunning floral displays and street furniture. Product samples can be taken to the desired location so that the client can see exactly what it will look like. The demonstrations and site visits are provided free of charge and without obligation. Every Amberol product has been designed to be safe to use, robust, easy to install and aesthetically pleasing. The brackets and fasteners are constructed of high tensile steel to ensure durability. In some circumstances the standard range of products may not be appropriate and the design team can create bespoke solutions for a wide range of applications.

Self-Watering Planters
The self watering planters help to keep plants healthy and looking good without the need for additional manual watering. The planters have a special system incorporated within them known as Aquafeed. Aquafeed uses a series of high capacity wicks that suck up water from a large built-in water storage compartment onto an expander pad, which in turn disperses the water evenly. The system will require topping-up twice a week, but then completes all the hard work. The range of planters available includes:

- Self-Watering Barrel: Ambarrel is a self-watering replica wooden barrel that will not rot, fall apart and offers excellent value for money. The barrel can hold 78 litres of compost and has a water reservoir for 20 litres of water
- Tiered Planters: Widely specified for open areas, walkways and drab areas, the tiered planters present a tall display of colour
- Up The Pole Baskets: Up the pole baskets are quite simply baskets which are fixed onto a pole. Quick and easy to install, the baskets are available in full, half, large or small units and will add a splash of colour to any environment
- Petal Planters: The petal shaped planters can be installed on grass, concrete or tarmac to create a high impact, instant landscaping solution for internal and external applications. They can be sunk into the ground or surface mounted as single or multiple units to form a stunning floral display
- Amberol Beehive Planter: Having six different sized tiers, the beehive planter forms a completely symmetrical floral cascade when fully planted. Each tier has its own water reservoir and will keep the plants happy and healthy
- Amberol Rocks: Lightweight rocks that will transform rockeries, pools, grass verges and roadside gardens. The rocks are manufactured using original granite rock specimens and can be used for internal or external displays
Amberol Bins
Amberol offers a large variety of waste collection bins and recycling products. The bins are manufactured from recycled polyethylene which is maintenance free and carbon friendly. There are eighteen standard colour options available within the bin ranges and custom branding can be added for personalisation and sponsorships. All include key opening locks with slam locks for extra security and a fire retardant liner. Bin options include:
- Indoor Space Bins: Designed for offices, reception areas, shopping malls and communal spaces, the bins are stylish and available in various sizes and capacities. Styles include Enviro-Bin wall mounted, Westminster floor standing Bin, Clearway Slim Bin and Clear-Way Confidential for highly sensitive waste
- Town and City Bins: Strong and durable bins that are used in streets, parks, gardens, stadiums and communal areas with lidded and non-lidded options for floor and wall mounting
- Communal Space Bins: Sympathetically designed to offer a stylish appearance in public areas. There is a wide range of practical options available including cigarette and chewing gum disposal areas, wall, post or floor mounting and open or closed lids
- Dog Waste Bins: The Enviro-Bin Poop Coop has a permanent flap lid to keep odours in and an easy drop down front for fast emptying
- Grit Bins: Robust double skinned bins that feature weighted lids. The bins can be placed on streets ready for use on icy streets
- Talking Litter Bins: Designed to encourage and teach children about the importance of responsible rubbish disposal. The bins are programmed to provide polite phrases or used to communicate an individual's message. Ambere and Percy Penguin can be labelled and colour-coded to personal requirements
- Recycling Bins: With the environment a key priority for councils and businesses, Amberol has designed a range of recycling bins that are colour-coded and clearly labelled for standard separations. Available in two sizes the bins are most often used in groups of four or five for convenience
Benches
Amberol offers a range of benches for use in public areas such as parks, towns, shopping malls etc. The Consul Picnic unit and Diplomat Seat are manufactured from 100% recycled plastics with steel reinforcements and are designed to offer strength and durability. The recycled plastic is rot proof and will not splinter like wood and includes tamperproof fixings. The Norfolk, Drayton and Eastgate Seats and the Ambassador Bench feature wood effect slats made from 100% recycled plastic and a steel frame. The Stainless Steel Bench is a vandal resistant seat with optional arms and is ideal for locations where youths gather. Key features include:
