Alape manufactures pure design, high quality sanitaryware components to support the planning and implementation of individual bathroom architecture.

The company helps planners to design private bathrooms and guest toilets and develop sanitary areas and bathrooms in semi-public buildings, such as hotels, office blocks and restaurants.

To do justice to the requirements of each building, Alape offers its components programme in the two areas of Private and Public Space. The components are compatible with one another, but the systems are specially designed to meet the requirements of each building.

Alape has been working successfully for many years with three award-winning partners who are active internationally in design and architecture. The designers’ products for Alape have won international design awards.

Products

Alape basic components (basins, washstands, and washplaces) are made almost exclusively of glazed steel. This material is superior to traditional ceramic in many ways, because glazed steel is not only extremely durable, colour-brilliant and hard-wearing, it can also be shaped particularly precisely. Thanks to a special baking process, the surface is also very hygienic and easy to look after. The distinguishing features of the Alape system are the variety of different shapes and forms and the variability of dimensions it comprises. The basic components are:

Counter tops

Alape is focusing more and more on natural materials where counter tops are concerned. Various real wood veneers, high-quality natural stones, different coloured glass surfaces, engineered stone and wood effect laminate are available.

Furniture components

The Alape furniture components also serve as support surfaces for the counter tops while simultaneously providing useful storage space. The elements can be positioned wherever preferred and are fully compatible with individual planning. They come in a choice of high gloss paints in four colours; real wood veneers with neutral varnish and wood effect laminates in four colours and include:

• Standard drawers
• Extra-deep bracket-mounted drawers
• Bracket panels
• Tall cabinets

All materials used by Alape are extremely high quality. For Alape, quality also means responsibility. Accordingly, all natural woods are acquired from sustainable stocks in line with the latest standards without using any pollutants.
