Loft Access Hatches:
- Plastic or Steel Drop Down: Designed with a contemporary aesthetic, both the plastic and steel hatches provide the largest possible openings, with the zintec steel model certified as 1 hour fire rated. Access Building Products Ltd manufactures its plastic drop down hatch from a high impact styrenic plastic composition and incorporates a neat quarter back catch in its design. Also available in a special steel range, offering bespoke sizes, a stainless steel option and a unique loft hatch with a polycarbonate window.
- Steel Push-Up: Available in two sizes, this is a more economical hatch, manufactured from zintec steel and finished with a white coat. (Certified as 1 hour fire rated)
- The Laddatrap MK2: Designed with a decorative frame, this hatch is manufactured from high impact polystyrene material to provide any loft with a strong, durable opening.
- The Econotrap MK3: With an elegant ornamental frame, Access Building Products Ltd manufactures this hatch with 4 pins for securing the door when closed.
All hatches from Access Building Products Ltd are manufactured with inner draught and vapour seals and a hidden hinge and a lid that fits flush to the frame ensuring that the opening blends in to the ceiling’s surface.
Loft Ladders:
- The Loft Ladder Combi: A folding pine ladder consisting of 3 segments manufactured with a spruce casing. The ladder is installed inside the ceiling for a concealed loft access system.
- The AL2 / AL3/ AL3C: A range of aluminium ladders with the option of 2 or 3 sections, and a model specifically for installation in any commercial environment.
Access Panels:
- Plastic Handi-Access Panels: Designed to provide wall and ceiling access to building services; this lightweight product is available in several sizes and is compatible with all wall and ceiling types. Access Building Products Ltd provides this access panel with a snap friction catch and key lockable options.
- Standard Steel Access Panels: Providing access into all types of wall and ceiling voids this panel is available in several colours and consists of a metal frame and door. Customers are given the option of picture or beaded frame options.
- Fire Rated Steel Access Panels: Precision welded one-hour fire rated panels tested to B.S.476: Part 22:1987, in five standard sizes or bespoke sizes to order. Also available in stainless steel or chrome.
Roof Hatches:
Galvanised or Aluminium Roof Hatches with galvanised stiffeners, covered push button lock release and wide gasketing to ensure watertight fitting.
Tubular Skylights
These are ideal for providing natural light to areas of buildings where windows are no possible, these tubular skylights are available in two diameters (254mm and 356mm) and provide an energy efficient source of lighting to any property.
Roof Domes:
- Ultra Dome: Due to its highly secure design (with an opening controlled by a specific key), this dome is manufactured from aluminium reinforced PVCu and is ideal for installation in such properties as schools, hospitals, leisure centres and offices. All fittings are disguised by a frame and available in four different profiles: curved dome, circular dome, trapezoidal or pyramid.
- The Trade Dome: A more economical dome option, the trade dome contains a screw-fix, predrilled glazing unit ready for easy installation onto the kerb (Available in the same profiles as Ultra Dome.
- The Reflex Dome: Designed to fit over existing kerbs the reflex dome consists of a fully glazed structure with effective ventilation properties.
Solar Entry Lights:
Designed to provide naturally powered light yet maintain maximum property security, this system features four LEDs, one solar panel to absorb the sun’s power and rechargeable batteries. The lights automatically switch on once it becomes dark.
