Products

A1 Reclaimed Brick Specialists has forged close working relationships with local and regional demolition companies and has the capability to source the highest quality reclaimed materials. The company is firmly committed to sourcing and supplying superior products, as well as influencing the reclamation, recycling and use of reclaimed products, which in turn contributes to a more eco-friendly and sustainable environment within the construction sector. Due to the nature of the stock, the extensive ranges can change on a daily basis; typical examples of bricks and paving materials available include:

  • Regency and Victorian Handmade Bricks: The handmade bricks date back as far as the early 1800s, right through to the Victorian times. The bricks are a variety of multi-colours, with the predominant colours being red, orange and brown. The Victorian and Regency bricks are suitable for renovation and restoration projects on older properties. The sizes are 65mm nominal being the standard.
  • Cottage Blend: Cottage Blend bricks typically incorporate red and orange colours and have been gently sandblasted to restore them to their former glory. Cottage Blend bricks are ideal for matching brickwork in environmentally sensitive and rural environments. The bricks are 73mm nominal in size.
  • Watermill Weathered: Watermill Weathered bricks date back to the late 1800s and are believed to be some of the earliest machine manufactured bricks available. The bricks feature a red, brown and orange blend and a texture which is similar to that of handmade bricks. The bricks are 73mm nominal.
  • Smooth Red Facings: The Smooth Red Facings are as their name states, red in colour and feature a smooth finish. Due to the ageing process, the facings are typically described as having shades of red with veins of weathering. There are two colour options available which includes sand-blasted red smooth and washed red smooth. The most popular size is 80mm nominal, but they are available in sizes ranging from 55mm to 75mm.
  • Watermill Natural: The Watermill Natural bricks are a blend of reds and oranges through to brown with occasional bar marks. The bricks date back to the early 1900s and come in a standard nominal size of 73mm.
  • Edwardian Handmade: The Edwardian Handmade brick collections are more regular in size than the Victorian ranges and feature a red through to brown colour range. The bricks are 73mm in size and are ideal for restoration projects.
  • Sandstone Cobbles: Sandstone cobbles are generally specified for the construction of paths, landscaping projects and driveways. The cobbles are also available in granite and cube (4x4) options, with co-ordinating kerbs for the perfect finish. The sandstone cobbles create a wonderful traditional and authentic look and are ideal for new-build and renovation projects.
  • Yorkstone Paving: Yorkstone paving is a versatile material which is ideal for both interior and exterior applications. The paving is available in a range of thicknesses and comes in random lengths and widths. All the flags are delivered squared off and palletised, ready for re-laying in homes and gardens.

A1 Reclaimed Brick Specialists is committed to inspiring the construction industry and individuals to utilise reclaimed products for sustainable and eco-friendly renovations and new-build projects throughout the UK. The experienced and dedicated team welcomes enquiries and can provide in-depth information and advice on specifying the most appropriate product for a particular application.
