Economy Mailboxes

The Economy range of mailboxes has been developed and manufactured to provide superior quality and performance. Economy mailboxes are suitable for domestic, college and light commercial use and are manufactured from zintec steel and polyester powder coated. The range accepts A4 mail in front and out front and incorporates a full sized steel door for full access. The mailboxes can be freestanding, surface mounted or wall recessed and are manufactured as single units, but can be factory banked to suit individual requirements. The mailboxes are suitable for indoor applications and can be weather-shielded for outdoor applications. Options include:

• Steel 1 Vertical Mailboxes: Steel vertical mailboxes are 380mmhigh x 276mm wide x 120mm deep with an aperture size of 235mm x 30mm. Lateral mailboxes and stainless steel options are available
• Steel 2 Horizontal Mailboxes: The horizontal mailboxes are 125mm high x 276mm wide x 360mm deep with an aperture size of 235mm x 30mm. Stainless steel models are available
• H1 Horizontal Mailboxes: The H1 horizontal mailboxes are 117mm high x 276mm wide x 360mm deep with an aperture size of 235mm x 19mm.

Commercial Mailboxes

The commercial mailbox range incorporates over 130 models to suit any budget, style or location. The mailboxes range is suitable for single or large banking arrangements in all applications such as apartment developments, housing associations, colleges/universities, commercial installations and postal authorities. A full AutoCAD service is available to accompany quotations. The range includes:

• In Front/Out Front Vertical or Horizontal: Mailboxes for surface mounting, recessing or freestanding which accept A4 mail vertically
• In Front/Out Back: Through the wall mailboxes which accept mail in at the front and retrieved from the back
• Commercial Solutions: Chuted mailboxes, fence mounted, key/mail boxes, retro fit options all made to individual requirements
• Mailrooms and Post Offices: A range of mail sorting boxes and pigeon hole boxes which are suitable for mailroom and concierge requirements
• Door Entry and Mailbox Systems: Door entry systems can be used in conjunction with mailboxes to provide an attractive and cost effective space-saving solution to secure door entry. Most proprietary door entry systems can be accommodated within the mailboxes and there are various options for push button, audio and video requirements
• Accessories: The Safety Letterbox Company has developed a range of accessories which can be used with the mailboxes. The accessories range includes support frames, door entry systems, locking options, vision panels, weather shielding, lighting and roof options, fire prevention, collection baskets and flanges and theft prevention.

Fire Rated

The Safety Letterbox Company has developed a range of fire rated mailboxes which offer one hour fire rated integrity in three options for on the wall, in the wall and through the wall applications. The fire rated options are suitable when the mailboxes are positioned within a designated fire escape route or banked in a post room which must be fire rated. The mailboxes within this range are certified to BS 476 Part 22 1987 Clause 8 for a period of 60 minutes. The mailboxes can be further enhanced by applying a finish which would conform to London Underground surface spread of flame requirement BS 476 Part 6 & 7. Options include:

• FR1 Fire Rated Vertical and FR2 Horizontal A4: Suitable for domestic and commercial use, the FR1 and FR2 are manufactured from zintec steel and finished with an architectural grade powder
• FR3 Fire Rated Rear Retrieval: Suitable for wall recessing and can be banked/configured to meet the majority of site conditions.

Digital Salto Electronic Mailboxes

The Salto XS4 locker lock mailbox solution has been developed to bring all the advantages of electronic access control to a lockable mailbox and provide a high level of security protection to mailboxes, lockers, cupboards, display cabinets and security boxes. The ergonomically designed twist operated handle is easy to use, durable and resistant to UV and physical wear and tear. The access reader is built into the handle and the ID carrier in the form of a wrist band, key fob or bracelet is simply presented to the reader, which will grant or deny access.

Student Mailbox Systems

The Safety Letterbox Company has designed a range of college mailbox solutions for both students and staff in low maintenance, vertical and horizontal freestanding, wall mounted and wall recessed configurations. Secured by Design Mailbox Systems

The Safety Letterbox Company’s mailboxes are compliant with Secured by Design requirements in line with the New Homes Guide 2010 section 21 and 24. The key focus of this guide is to try to prevent crime at the design, layout and construction stage of homes and commercial premises. The Safety Letterbox Company provides a wide range of UK manufactured mailboxes, post boxes, mailbox and door entry systems and letterboxes which comply with these guidelines.

Flaplock 1 and 2 Lockable Letterflaps

Flaplock is a simple, neat and affordable high security letterflap which, when locked in position will not allow any unwanted mail, papers and offensive items to be dropped through the letterbox. Flaplock can reduce the incidence of threat of fire, vandalism, intimidation and theft. Flaplock is fitted in seconds and can be locked or unlocked, as required. Flaplock 2 is a heavy duty version of Flaplock 1 and is Secured by Design approved to LPCB 1175 Security Level 1. Flaplock 2 is manufactured from 1.5mm steel and in places is reinforced to 3mm thick. The locking method is by steel pegs. This product is ideal for properties which are left empty for long periods or are at risk from burglary or theft.

Domestic Mailboxes

The Safety Letterbox Company’s all new range of domestic letterboxes are secure, lockable, A4 in size and can be fitted to a wall or post, keeping mail secure and dry. Manufactured from galvanised steel to BS EN 10142/3 and polyester powder coated, the letterboxes are available in red, white, blue, black and grey. There are also stainless steel versions and all are fitted with a disc tumbler lock as standard. Options include:

• Eurobox PPC: An attractive, high quality domestic mailbox for exterior use
• Eurobox Stainless Steel: A high quality stainless steel mailbox which can be wall mounted or freestanding
• Fence Mounted: The fence mounted horizontal and vertical mailboxes are suitable for A4 sized mail for face entry and rear retrieval. The mailboxes are fabricated from aluminium extrusion and polyester powder coated to any RAL colour
• Domestic with Roof: An aesthetically pleasing mailbox with additional weather shielding that offers a classical look, ideal for individual properties
• Homeguard: The Homeguard mailbox range is suitable for A4 sized mail for face entry through a letter plate and rear retrieval via a lockable door
• Americana: A traditional American styled mailbox which is suitable for A4 sized mail for face entry and retrieval via a lockable door. The Americana is suitable for post and wall mounted applications.
